School of Law

UCI Law prides itself on an innovative curriculum that features experiential learning, a culture of civility, and a commitment to public service–the last of which is at the very core of our mission. Since the School opened its doors in 2009, 92 percent of all UCI Law students have provided more than 50,000 hours of pro bono legal services for the poor and underserved, both locally and beyond. UCI Law students recognize that many people are unable to access the legal services they so desperately need. The School houses social-justice programs like the Immigrant Rights Clinic and the National Registry of Exonerations, an online database that catalogues wrongful convictions.
